Planetside is down?

First I couldn't log in to the launcher. I can now log in and launch the game, however it tells me failed login attempt just after the splash screen. Anyone else experiencing same issues?

It's not down. DBG did some server maintenance yesterday and messed something up with the login process.

Some people flushed their DNS, but the PSForever.net launcher bypassed this problem for me. You can download it here: http://files.psforever.net/releases/...er_1.0.0.4.zip

Make sure to extract both files together, then run the executable. Point it to your PlanetSide directory, and check "Skip Launcher." When you get in the game client, you should be prompted for your username and password.

The PSForever launcher doesn't work for me I still get unknown log in error.

Word needs to get out about this fix. Since Daybreak have broken it and are basically saying they are not going to fix it.

We TURNT UP! And it broke. Shows enough of give a fuck, that we break it and use it to the fullest extent!!
