Tips for CQB

Hi,

I'm a relatively new player to the Planetside franchise, and I've had quite a bit of trouble with Close Quarters Combat. In most FPS games (TF2, Cod, Battlefield, Halo), I'm not to shabby at fighting when my opponent is right in my face. But in Planetside 2, even when I see him first and I get the first three shots to connect, I still manage to lose the engagement, regardless of class.

Does anyone have any tips on how to survive close combat encounters?

the only two bits of advice i can give; don't bother aiming down the sights ( aka hip fire ) and don't worry about wasting ammo, unload your mag into him
