I have been reading a few threads with people arguing about the high (or low) price of store items.
I think the point is not so much the price, but more the inability to undo a purchasing mistake, or to change your mind. Many times I find myself buying a weapon, just to later find out it is not exactly what I was looking for, or it does not exactly match my play style. But at that point there is nothing I can really do! I would really love to be able to return an item to the store for a refund, which I can then spend on something else. To avoid abusing the system, I am even willing to take some restrictions on this, for example limiting the refund as a percentage (i.e. get back 90% only), or limit the number of refunds for an amount of time (i.e. # of refunds a month depending on subscription plan, and length of membership, or a flat 3 refunds a month) etc. But this one-lane buying scheme does not feel right to me. Some kind of a refund mechanism would just be fair. I assume SOE may argue this would decrease their revenue, but I would argue to the contrary; currently I am buying fewer items just because I did one or two mistakes before, and I am being very careful. A more forgiving system would encourage me to buy more frequently. Fishy |

There is always the trial, but due to its limitations, it's very hard to make a fair comparison between two or more runner ups.
Trying the raptor MBT 2:ndary AA for 30 minutes and then 6 hours later trying the walker AA for 30 minutes. Not exactly a fair comparison with both experiences fresh in mind. That's why I've always been a proponent of the VR training (or equivalent) where you can try all the ins and outs of any weapons or vehicles without exploiting it on the live map. Still, there's no amount of trialling that will prepare you for major changes from patches. |

I was stupid enough to buy 3 cosmetics for my flash and 2 for my sundy before bothering to see that there's only space for 1 at a time. Very idiot like of me for doing it, and Id take it back if I could to change for class armor.

lol @ OCN
I would be happy with a respec option once a month. Then at least your hard work for those certs hasn't gone down the drain with some stupid purchases. It might also make PS2 look at switching some cosmetic stuff around if they see that people aren't buying certain things on certain weapons. |

Im all for a 2 minute refund in case you literally made a mistake and realize it as soon as you equip it.
beyond that i dont see the need.
