NC Rank 100 Title

Is anyone else a little disappointed with the title we get at rank 100 as New Conglomerate: [Executor]? For me, that's way too similar to the Beta title we already have which is: [Exteriminator]. Not necessarily a huge issue but it's enough of one to still bug me. Anyone else feel this way?

Executor is also a legal term referring to a person named by a maker of a will, or nominated by the testator, to carry out the directions of the will. Typically, the executor is the person responsible for offering the will for probate, although it is not absolutely required that he or she do so. A person who deals with a deceased person's property without proper authority is known as an executor de son tort. Such a person's actions may subsequently be ratified by the lawful executors or administrators if the actions do not contradict the substantive provisions of the deceased's will or the rights of heirs at law.

Where there is no will, a person is said to have died intestate—"without testimony". As a result, there can be no actual 'testimony' to follow, and hence there can be no executor. If there is no will or where the executors named in a will do not wish to act, an administrator of the deceased's estate may instead be appointed. The generic term for executors or administrators is personal representative. In England and Wales, when a person dies intestate in a nursing home, and has no family members who can be traced, those responsible for their care automatically become their executors.[1]
Under Scottish law, a personal representative of any kind is referred to as an executor, using executor nominate to refer to an executor and executor dative to an administrator.

Executor of the New Conglomerate is quite fitting, given they Execute the will of the whole. That is to say, they carry it out.

After reading that it does seem pretty fitting. Suppose it's just going to be a thing I'll have to get over.

Not a huge fan of the VS one either. I get that Paragon can be considered godlike, but it also has more literal meaning of just being perfect. Whereas Immortal... says godlike all over it!

It isn't the same as something like Executioner, as in somebody who executes capital punishment on behalf of the state. While it sounds like it might be, it isn't. Its more literally the head chief of state of a corporate conglomerate. An example of another corporate Executor would be Tibus Heth of EVE Online lore.

Did you actually read it? It doesnt fit well at all.

An executor is someone who executes the will of the deceased.
Its always about taking care of matters for a dead person.

Its really a terrible title and makes no sense with respect to either a soldier or a leader.

An executor, in the broadest sense, is one who carries something out (in other words, one who is responsible for executing a task).

Ummm - no.

That entire link refers to an agent who serves to settle an estate for someone - the only exception is a Scottish use that where it can be an agent of single person not yet deceased.

You really should read stuff before you quote its and rant about it.

Hey now I worked hard for my Vet title, you know how many cokes ive slurped down, or sour cream and onion chip bags Ive eaten to earn this title. . . . . . Actually havent really paid attention to my title.
