My friend is wondering???


He has a GA - 8SQ800 Motherboard Hes running Dual DDR400 he wants to know could he run 800FSB with a Intel P4c 2.6ghz

The 2.6c does 800fsb but that motherboard only does 533mhz/400mhz so no... unless he ups his fsb a bunch.

It depends on if the MB has that high of an FSB available to it. So check the bios. But I doubt it goes that high.

Well why not test it and find out? When overclocking you never want to just jump 400mhz fsb... You go up slowly until you hit the limit.
