Dis gonna be gud. level 78 now, don't have a great deal of time off on the holidays but level 100 might be possible, doubt ill get close by the 2nd though have to finish it in boring old 1x.

Double XP seems SOEs excuse for everything, how does that fix anything? Like the servers go down for longer than usual, Double XP time! We're sorry for this patch ruining the game, Double XP!

It doesn't help the game in the long run, it just makes people advance quicker and become bored sooner.

I don't know if it's going to make players bored sooner, anyone like myself that is narrowly focused runs out of meaningful means of spending certs pretty damn fast. I'm only BR29 and if I recall correctly from last time I played I'm sitting on over a thousand unspent certs. Character progression for it's own sake is never really going to be what this game is about.

It may encourage players to log in more over the holidays, but your right it's not going to fix the real things that ail this game, but big fixes/changes weren't going to happen over Christmas regardless.

TLDR: Yeah I'm bored with PS2 in it's current state as well, but not because of fast progression.

As long as it gets server player count to high, I'm very happy.

Medium and lower = harder to find any good fights anywhere but crown.

I was getting about 4 times my normal xp per hour during the last XP bonus weekend.
A combination of tech plants and lots of players.

I hope we'll see some great fights over the holidays, I expect a lot of us have family commitments that will need to be rescheduled now.
Kids, santa will be last minute shopping on the 2nd of Jan now. YOu can have presents on the 12th day of xmas :P
