Should feature some bug fixes and features along with customizable colors for platoon.

Perhaps not. However please don't misunderstand me. I appreciate the abstract, surreal theme they're going for with Esamir. Yet I fear the rest of the playerbase wouldn't see it as that and instead think it was 'unfinished' graphical glitches and turrets in odd places. Nothing of the sort. They just don't see art the way the devs do.

Wonder if the pain fields around warpgates will be removed on live servers as well as the addition of the new buildings in the warpgates.

I wish they would just move shadow rendering from CPU to GPU. There's no reason why shadows should be one of the top CPU hogs, when graphics cards are made to render them.

good update, but if this is the update about the "quality of life" thread Higgles made, then i would be disappointed. there are oodles and oodles of feedback on that thread! add this patch, and do another one regarding the thread!

Yeeaaah, I don't think they have any plans on fixing every quality of life issue in a single update.

The update I mentioned earlier this week is going to released next week. We have a few things in there we can't rush. Sorry about that!

...
Why the fuck are shadow effects being rendered on the CPU?
Is this some sort of hack to allow for idiots trying to play PS2 on an integrated graphics card to work better?
