Due to a really bad hacker problem, trials have been done away with all together so the only way to play is to buy it. The good news is a cool little trick you can do it download the sony station launcher here http://launcher.station.sony.com/. Create an account, then you can subscribe to Planet side for 15 bucks without actually buying it. Saves you 5 bucks right there. Hope that helps!
