SOE or P7S1

hello guys
i am from germany and i want to play ps2. if i like the game i want to purchase SC. but my problem is:
5000 SC cost 43€
or 45$ => 34€
the difference is too big, to ignore it. but i cant pay in $, if my account is EU.
and it is even more complicated because of there are two different publishers: US got SOE. EU got P7S1.
what are the differences between them? is there a benefit in going to SOE or P7S1? or a downside? some special events, or sales, or offers, or support, or game client?
it would be great if you can help me

Downside to psg is that it is down too often. With soe account you can play everytime, unless it's a patch day. If I had to make the choice now, I would go soe without even thinking.

what about payment? if i choose SOE how can i pay? credit card, paypal?

Go SOE. Now. I'm myself from Finland and I've got a SOE account, it's a lot better than ProSiebenSat. You can choose a EU server regardless if you have a SOE or Prosieben account.
And the payment options are the same for both. SOE only has downtimes on patch days, ProSiebenSat has more, even when it's not patch day.

If I recall correctly, you can buy Subs with Paypal, but you have to renew it manually. Paypall can't be charged automatically at the end of the subscription time. So you need to make sure you manually renew it before the sub runs out to keep your benefits. Not sure if this is the case with PS2, but seems to be the case with other things I've used PayPal for.

Unfortunately, you cannot buy subscriptions with PayPal on SOE or Prosieben.
I know, it sucks.

spotify charges paypal at the end of the month automatically. so it is possible

Once you've got a working PS2 account with SOE you can pay membership via direct debit (Lastschriftverfahren).
