Hi I'm trying to generate a list of all our outfit members playtimes (time they are in game) during a certain period, for example since last month/week/nr_of_days.
I'm very new to REST. Atm I use javascript to parse the response, it lets me put all the code in 1 html file and I can easily distribute it in my outfit. I also only have very basic javascript skills, but after some more tinkering than I anticipated I found myself able to produce a webpage that lists of all the character names/ids from the api using this string/request: http://www.planetside-universe.com/a...29&decode=true I kind of copy pasted that from the examples on http://census.soe.com/ But I have no clue as to how to get the playtimes for each member. Any suggestions on how to get there? And pls be verbose, as I am very new to this. (I'll keep searching myself of course, but it takes soo much time for me) EDIT: ok I figured out I can find the playtime per character using following query: http://census.soe.com/get/ps2:v2/cha...e=stat_history But then I have to query the server for every member, which works of course.. but I was searching to get all info in one query, but I cant really figure it out. I found that following query gives all the stats per member of the outfit, but it doesn't return the member names: http://census.soe.com/json/get/ps2/o...s_stat_history And the list is waaay to big, but I cant figure out how to filter the list. So yeah, I have found a solution, but still I would like to know how this works.. getting lots of respect for the ppl at http://stats.dasanfall.com/ with their crazy stats EDIT 2: Ok I figured out how you get 2 resolves from the api, just by using a comma Though now I have implemented it with lots of queries and it seems to work fine. For future reference, if you want to get the member names and stathistory from an outfit called outfit_name, you can use the query (this is the last part): json/get/ps2/outfit/?name=outfit_name&c:resolve=member_character,membe r_characters_stat_history my prototype can be found at: http://frydac.github.io/252nd/ source: https://github.com/Frydac/252nd/tree/gh-pages though its really badly written atm Last edited by Frydac; 2014-02-04 at 03:11 PM. |
