Incidentally, how many sundies actually survived the trip to the Crown?

Next time you might want to go even more unconventional.
They won't see that one coming!
Now that I think about it, this scene actually makes a pretty darn good representation of what effect the Crown has.

Sunderer spam isn't an unconventional Crown assault tactic though. On Matterson at least that's how TE, and GOON seem to prefer to take it. First you drop on Crossroads tower. Then you Sunderer swarm out of there. Pulling all your Sunderers from warpgate an driving across the map is newb

The difference really is instead of 50 something empty Sunderers you want like 20 with passengers but you mentioned that in video.

Well I've never seen one on my server (miller) I saw a gal swarm once where people rammed a load of gals into our tower. Not sure what good it did them other than giving us a lag spike, is that the point of it? Who knows

I'm used to Galaxy/Sunderer assault at The Crown with EXE (it's nice, but I did it more than once), the last unconventional assault at The Crown that I remember is when we (not EXE only and it wasn't an EXE leader, it was just zerg but worked nice) had a platoon with 4 squads, 12 people in each Galaxy. It was 1 Engineer, 1 Combat Medic and 10 MAX (with dual anti-infantry weapons) for each squad. It worked nice, but it wasn't enough to capture it (of course we knew it).
It was a farm fest for us, but then they just focused on engineers and combat medics or any other non-MAX thing around. Then we wasted our bullets and had no Engineer around to repair us. Anyway, it was really nice and worth the farm.

We just crashed into the place. We had no internist in playing there. It was still epic. But that's what the squad lead of the night wanted to do.
