...or actually I finally decided to stop lurking as a guest, gave up on trying to figure out my password on my old account, and created a new account.
I played PS1 from open beta until about a month after the introduction of the BFRs. Was a part of the 666th Devil Dogs, and a regular Flame Warrior on the Planetside Forums.
Last year when I heard about PS2 I went to renew my subscription for PS1, only to find that my account had been hacked at some point and the subsiquently banned.
So, I created a new account and subscribed to PS1 anew, mainly for the slim chance that I
might get selected for the PS2 Beta. I've been in the server and kicked around on and off since then.
To say I'm looking forward to PS2 is the understatement of the century. This is the game I've been dreaming of for the last 7 years. BF2142 was a nice preview of what PS2 could be, but it was just too grey (and brown) and too small.
I just want to give a huge thanks to everyone who fought for the chance to make this game for us, those who finally green-lit the project, and those who are currently grinding it out and doing the hard work of putting this thing on the screen. You guys are awesome!
Also, a special thanks to everyone at PSU and the truely loyal fans that never gave up on Planetside. Thanks for keeping the home-fires lit!
