After coming back to PlanetSide I have noticed a complete lack of communication and teamwork in this game these days. I have tried several outfits across the TR and NC, and cannot find a single one where their entire squad is in voice chat and actually working together. Our clan was going to wait until PlanetSide 2 is closer to start recruiting, but we have decided to start in PlanetSide live instead. Currently we only have a few PlanetSide players so we are seeking veterans to help get things rolling. Once PlanetSide 2 is released we plan to have around 60+ members that are ready to play PlanetSide 2 as a properly coordinate team.
Communication, Coordination, Organization Server: Gemini Faction: New Conglomerate Focus: Coordinate Infantry, Armor and Air Region: North America Website: www.bfgrunts.com TeamSpeak 3: ts3.bfgrunts.com:7700 Battlefield Grunts is a highly organized clan created by gaming and military veterans. In BFG we bring together team oriented players and provide them the training and tools needed to dominate the battlefield. BFG originated as a Battlefield clan competing in large scale, 32 versus 32 player matches, but has since shifted focus onto sandbox MMO games such as PlanetSide and Darkfall. BFG prefers games of player versus player, global conquest and utilizing all assets of warfare in a coordinated manner to achieve victory. Battlefield Grunts main goal is to form a brotherhood of like minded individuals that demonstrate superior communication, coordination and organization on the battlefield. BFG runs around the clock and welcomes members from all across the globe and all walks of life. We recognize that a players individual skill does not win a match, but it is proper communication, coordination and organization among the entire team that gets the job done. Level, kill/death ratio, etc. is not a requirement to join BFG, but teamwork, communication and the ability to learn are requirements. Battlefield Grunts is equipped with a highly organized TeamSpeak 3 voice server, a website with many member activity's, a wide range of tactical training courses and schools, hundreds of medals, badges and ribbons to recognize it's members achievements, and so much more. As a member of BFG you will have access to all of these perks and the opportunity to be a part of a highly organized clan unlike any other. When your a member of BFG you will be provided all of the training and tools needed to dominate the Battlefield. The training BFG provides is created by gaming and military veterans, using real life military tactics translated for the gaming realm. Once a BFG member is fully trained, they will demonstrate superior communication and coordination unlike members of any other organization. Join us in TeamSpeak 3 at ts3.bfgrunts.com:7700 BFG seeks out mature, team oriented players with a tactical mindset. Our leaders will spend a large amount of time teaching and training our members on proper communication, teamwork, tactics and game secrets, therefore we have no room for those who will waste our time. In BFG we filter out the weak, we have no room for crybabies, cheaters, rage quitters, mommas boys, people with anger problems, dirtbags or any other waste of our time. Members of BFG are here for a mature environment of like minded gamers, therefore we will not hesitate to kick, ban or reject anyone who wastes our time or compromises the spirit of BFG. Since BFG is a military structured clan, we do have a chain of command and it must be followed. When in combat, all orders must be followed and anyone who does not follow orders is not fit to be a member of BFG. That being said, no member of BFG will ever abuse their rank over another member. There is no hazing, "Yes Sir" or other strict formalities to follow, but we do strive to create an environment of professionalism, honor and respect among all members. All new recruits will be required to complete Basic Combat Training. BCT is not designed to haze members or waste their time, this is how we ensure all members understand the BFG structure and demonstrate proper communication, coordination and teamwork. What BFG Offers
BFG is a brotherhood unlike any other organization. Rank Structure The BFG rank structure is designed to effectively communicate and coordinate our efforts to ensure battlefield success. The ranks follow the US Army rank structure and are broken down into three main categories: Grunts, NCO's, and Officers. Rank is gained through merit, contribution and promotion points. Certain ranks within the structure do have requirements such as specific training courses, officer recommendations, specific roles within the clan, etc. Award System BFG uses a wide range of medals, badges and ribbons to recognize it's members and their achievements. All awards grant promotion points which serve a means of gaining rank to ensure members of higher ranks are worthy of the rights and responsibilities of their rank. Awards are granted for a wide range of accomplishments to include time in the clan, contribution to the clan, completing training courses, earning achievements in-game, site activity and much more. Tactical Training BFG and it's members are constantly working on a wide range of training designed to demonstrate proper team play, develop strong combat fundamentals and share game specific tips and tactics. To pass the rank of recruit you must complete Basic Combat Training -- this is how we ensure that all members have the proper knowledge required to function as a part of a properly coordinated team. After BCT we offer a wide range of optional training which provides our members the opportunity to learn more specialized skills on the battlefield such as Air Assault , Armor, Medic, Flight, Sniper, and much more. Organization When gaming with Battlefield Grunts you can guarantee your entire team is with you in TeamSpeak and ready to coordinate their efforts. During organized gaming, members are be broken down into several organized TeamSpeak channels. Leaders also create a hot-key that speaks to the entire Leadership Comms group and be able to insert and remove users from this group as needed. Events Events are held several times per month and cover a wide range of activity's to include raids, sieges, tournaments, shootouts, races, matches, duels, scrimmages, etc. Events often hold real world prizes such as games, expansions, game swag, clan swag and always have medals and various other awards associated with them.
