The title is meant to make the devs not see this:

Rogue, I think he was talking about a earlier thread I made, where I went up to his office and got the ip address to where he downloaded Planetside. What was the ip adress again, oh yeah it was 1.21. ... .... hehe.

So...why am I posting this? why dont we go through every possible combination and find the ftp. its 1.21.xxx.xxxx That means that there are only 9,999,999 possible combinations...or something like that, if we divide that by the number of people who want to play beta and are on PSU forums then it should be a reasonable (im thinking hour or less) amount of work for each of us.

Any comments/suggestions?

Of course an ftp with 1.22.333.4444. numbers in that pattern is a bit suspicious, and it could be a damn hoax, but maybe its worth it.

Even at this point in the game? Are you sure? If so then we wont be able to play it, but we would be able to see the startup screen and everything! well ok maybe it is a bad idea...

Yeah, and the ip having a 4 digit last number is more than a bit suspicious.

It was all a cruel joke, the real download site is [*edit*], we have all been having alot of fun, but the lancer is really over powered, I think they will change it soon.

well if you would like to take this to the next level, here is what you do in just 2 easy steps:

1. scan the ip address of all the possible ips (only about 999999 possiblities.

2. dl a hacking thing(forgot the terminology(that to)) becuase your probably narrowed it down to 100000.

two easy steps:
Probablity of finding the username/password and the correct server. 1 to 9999999999999999999 (the last nine was for error)(probablity also includes every user in this forum helping out)
Estimated time: banana.

so in other words have a great time finding it.

By the way if you do find it and manage to dl the beta, then what. I believe you need a login and password to enter into an account and start playing. So just add a couple more 9's for good measure.
