I too had some plans in the pipeline, but now they consist wholly of advising people against playing anything by SOE. When a company cares so little about it's users, every one will get burnt eventually.

We're lucky they still run the original Planetside severs, we're even luckier than that they even decided to make a sequel to an MMO that failed. |

I cancelled mine today and took my time filling in the leaving questionnaire. Having had much experience with media corporations, particularly with overseeing customer retentions departments, I can tell you they take those comments very seriously indeed.
In fact I'd go so far as to say if every PSU member were to cancel their sub and write a strongly worded comment at the end of their questionnaire, SOE would be holding meetings to discuss the matter tomorrow morning. |

I'm all for making new friends and enemies as part of my gaming. That is why, 5 years ago, I decided to create and manage a gaming clan. With this "business decision" SOE and Pro7 are effectively telling me I shouldn't be running a clan which includes gamers from both sides of the Atlantic. That is my issue with this "business decision". If you can't understand that, there's nothing more I can tell you.
