Lag when I spot Enemy

I just started playing, about 1 hr.

Then i decided i needed help. I'v lowered everything on ps2.
Still laggy when I spot an enemy.

Specs:

8gb RAM
AMD Phenom II x6 1090T processor
Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti

Shouldnt be a problem running it right?

Is there any software that i missed that make it run smoother?

Updated graphic drivers recently?

Also, are you getting actual lag, or just low frame-rate?

Yes that was the first thing i did.

well hard to tell, but as soon i as i see an enemy. BAM 5 fps!

Just to make sure, is it actually just seeing them that does it, or when you start shooting at them?

Is there a setting for model detail/soldier textures?

Every setting is on low and rendering is on 50%.

I know theres nothing wrong with my net.

Well you say you get a low FPS, which certainly points towards your computer rather than your net.

I haven't been keeping up with PS2 technical issues, so you may have more luck on the official PS2 forums.
