Help Wanted

Planetside Universe has undergone a huge expansion in the past month. There has also been a large dump of information recently and some of our content is outdated. We know about this and I intend to address it. We have several staff members already and all of them have other tasks and do. So they do content updating as a side job when they are not busy with other projects. Enough of my babble down to the real stuff.

We are opening up the position of senior editor. This person would be charged with keeping an eye on PSU as a whole, and making sure all our content is up to date. They would assign tasks to the editors and other staff members to update the site, as well as do it themselves. The position does not pay, however you will become recognized within the community. Persons applying for this position need to do a write-up on Planetside, either a fiction story. Or a write-up on why they think planetside will or will not change the face of gaming. This person should also be very involved in the community, and should know the game from top to bottom as we know it now. If you are not willing to spend several hours a week on PSU business and digging around the community, you need not apply.

/me wishes he had enough free time to take job

I finally get a chance to help the PSU community and staff but no time to take the job, sigh, i'll leave the chance to someone who has more time to do it right...

I do what you said you need to be done, but I do it all day basically, but I don't have enough...will(bad choice of words) to do anything like that continuously. Too bad, also, I sleep really oddly and that may piss you off when I update always at 1-4 AM. Nav or BZ would probably be good choices but they probably have no time either.

I would like to help, however do not have the time neccesary to do an apporpriate job, I do however have faith that you will pick the right candidate for the job.

So how long will this position last? I have plenty of time now, but when Planetside comes out...

I imagine that most of the content will be updated by then, but I thought I would ask.

I can only say i would love to have a job like this. Especially long term. Would love to help out the PS community, and i feel i would be well qualified. I'll have to sit back and cross my fingers, not to mention i have ALOT of free time. hehe

Id love to take this postion. I have the time, and the patiance. Just wondering though, is this "write-up" we have to do, going to play a big part in your desicion? Or is it just to see if were willing to put in some time?

Maybe i should make you W.A.M.S. 2nd in command Nav.

Anyhoo as for nazi spots most likely you'll have to wait till someone drops off before getting a spot Nav, oh and wait till i get mine of course.

What happens when a member of WAMS becomes a PSU Staff member? Does the member get kicked out in envy?
