It looks pretty good, but doesn't rival the Unreal 3 Engine. My primary complaint with it is that, like the Doom 3 Engine, it has too much wierd and splashy lighting effects to look real, whereas the U3E looks rough, like the Half Life 2 Engine, and creates realistic-looking spaces and terrains.

Is that the Source Engine, or the Reality Engine? It looks fairly mediocre, whatever it is.

The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly.

the one at the top doesnt even look like an engine to me. Looks like someone had some fun with 3DSM or Maya.

It also is too soft. The tones are too bright and there's too much of a soft sheen on everything. Show me something that proves better lighting effects than the U3 engine and I'll believe it. But from the U3 engine demo, it'll be hard to beat that out.

BAH. Just wait 'till they make a physics/graphics engine that can simulate and render each individual atom and sub-atomic particle of a level in real time.

Computeres everywhere will explode.
