I can see how this would be kinda useful, to an extent.

Take Coke for example. We have what, cherry coke, vanilla coke, cherry vanilla coke, and coke with lime.

So, take a bottle of coke, and add a lime bubble, a cherry bubble, and a vanilla bubble. Now you can make whatever you want. Vanilla coke, cherry coke, vanilla cherry coke, coke with lime... as well as some undoubtedly funky lime and cherry/vanilla combinations. If you want to appeal to the caffeine freaks (jolt lovers) also throw in a caffeine bubble and you're set.

I'm sure the novelty would wear off after a while but it does have some pretty good marketing possibilities if done right.

I still have a crystal pepsi promotional cd too which rocks to a slightly lesser degree than the actual drink product thing.
