The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly.

Grandpa Grandpa! Is it true when you were young that online games had lag???

Yes young whipper snapper! And some of us actually had to use dial-up to connect to the internet.

(the young one looks horrified)

What was that garbage at the end of the article talking about desktop computers being behind internet data transfer technology?

Right now, our desktops can handle 100 MB/s and our ISPs can not deliver that.

The moment ISPs can deliver 1000 MB/s I can guarentee that mother boards and ethernet tech will change along with it.

Since we can't even get even 100 MB/s from our ISPs, why should ethernet cards and motherboards be designed to handle something 10x faster.

I don't see desktop technology being the limiting factor for data transfer in the next 25 years.

He meant that our PCs we have right now couldn't handle 900+ Meg/s which i doubt they could.

not to forget the cost of fiber optics is very high. and for them to install it in your house even more because not many of us cable installers no fiber optics yet. beside it would be sweet to have but at the moment unrealistic. most cable modems can only go as fast a 10meg/sec.
