This idea is completely dependant on what actually is available under the command certs.
But an idea for the vehicle side-grades would be a Command Module which can be fitted to the tank in place of the utility slot or something and enable the pilot access to the currently undisclosed command features while remaining inside of the vehicle. Much like using the CUD from planetside1 without having to leave the vehicle. Such as revealing friendlies and enemies, call in artillery strikes, squad spawning and so on. Maybe they could also introduce some tank/vehicle specific command certs for all those armour squads out there. For visuals they could add antenna arrays ontop of the vehicle to make it even more of a primary target |

+1 Signed.
Maybe the concept of a command module should be expanded to include all ground vehicles, the Sunderer having the same full options as the tank modules, as it carries a command squad. Smaller vehicles can also 'reveal' enemies and call artillery, but not call down much more. Even a small mobile force would have one vehicle carrying a radio and acting as the officers' lead vehicle, so it could mark enemies and radio back enemy numbers etc. |

Seems like a good idea. Probably not everyone should be able to use this though? If you have three dozen people with this calling in airstrikes and whatnot, it will become a mess. Also I think it should be limited to slower, larger vehicles, not the speedy small ones. But that's just me.
