Ok, so we know people are getting smushed by vehicles when the spawn so how about putting in a flashing light or siren when someone has accessed the vehicle spawn pad to warn people to get the %#$@ off the vehicle pad?
Only other idea I got are to create a light field (like a shield) letting people know they are in the "danger zone" (Archer Referrence) Thoughts?? |

In stead of that, which seems kinda ridiculous because it would give away your position if enemies were near by... >HEY LOOK OVER HERE< I AM LAUNCHING A BIG TARGET!
Instead of that. Just make it so the vehicle does not come barreling out of the launcher... WHen you spawn it, You have 15 seconds to leave the launchpad before the next vehicle spawns and if your still there, your tank is reverted back into credits. It only works if your tank was spawned on the pad and did not leave the pad... So for instance. You spawn a tank on the spawn pad, and then you get out and stand next to it for an hour. Then someone else decides they want a vehicle form that pad. So they launch one, and yours gets converted back into credits.. If you spawned a vehicle, then lagged out and were still in it, the 15 seconds is over and the next vehicle spawns. Your tank goes back into credits and your ported back in front of the terminal you used... If your credits were 750, and you bought the tank for 200, then in the 15 seconds that you didnt move, you gained some credits form a tick. You wouldn't get to have more then 750. You would loose those credits over 750... Frankly, if your standing on a vehicle pad, I think you deserve to die anyways.. So that shouldn't be any issue... Or here's an idea, if you see a vehicle pad, don't stand in front of of it?
Seriously though, this is a far bigger problem for the people spawning the vehicle. A lot of players simply don't understand two major things: 1. Don't stand in front of the vehicle spawn. 2. Don't run down the middle of the road. |
