A confession.

Over the past few weeks, some of you may have been getting to know a girl in game and on the forums called "Lise." Nice enough girl, anime fan, FPS fan for some reason too. Seemed too good to be true, right?

It was. I am Lise. The admins can check the IP logs if they don't believe me.

Why the deception? It's a bit of a story.

A few days before PS came out, I had to move back home to my crap-ass 56K connection. I had initially planned to do my "Draconian" thing on Emerald, but we all know what happened to Emerald. So I try my old SpaceDrake thing on Johari, but at that point no one at all was ON Johari. In frustration, I decide, for the sheer hell of it, to run a female TR. I then get the evil notion in my head to pretend to BE a female - if beta was any indication, the TR was full of CS kiddies who's minds I could toy with and crush easily.

So I create the personality for Lise and head over... to Konried.

Gradually, I begin to realize something: there didn't seem to be many CS kiddies around. In fact, Konried turned into probably the most mature and respectable of all the Planetside servers. There were no CS kiddie minds to hideously warp. Unfortunately, by then I was already in a pretty good outfit and I had most people buying my story. I seemed trapped.

So, for the past few weeks I've been pretending to be a girl. It's actually been an interesting experience... I myself have learned never to trust anyone about their gender (or anything similar) unless they can prove it! Also, it was fascinating experiencing things from the other side of the fence. For instance, I expected a pretty good amount of harassment, from the stories I heard in other games. Maybe it's just the Konried Vibe� but I can count the number of times on a single hand that I was hit on. I'm not saying such things don't happen, but the PS community seems to be pretty mature about such things.

So. I'm sorry to anyone I decieved, especially the BOHICA guys (tho Dio is still teh hawtness ) and I do promise to act my gender from now on. As to what made me come out? Eh, sooner or later someone'd get me on Teamspeak (especially once I get back to college) and it'd come out anyway. Besides, I just switched Outfits and I figured I should be straight with my new crew. So, I'm being straight with you guys too. (Also, playing an anime girl has it's disadvantages... the amount of Wai in my system was reaching almost toxic levels.)

Thanks for understanding (I hope.) And yes, I will keep the Lise image as part of my sig so I don't deprive you of its hotness.

I used to know a guy who not only spent YEARS pretending to be a girl.. it wasn't just a random girl, it was someone he actually knew in real life. He tried to take on her life, just on the internet. When she found out about it she made a webpage with the whole story and lots of stuff he had done.. It was quite disturbing and she removed it after only a few days.

I actually still went to school with the guy until recently.. It really freaked me out to see him at school.. especially since no one knew about it but myself and maybe a couple others.

Hmm.. Maybe it's something we all think about doing at some time or another, and really, what is the harm done. None as far as I can measure, as long as you're not trying to steal someone's life like this guy was doing.

So myself I don't think any less of you.

That's ok Spacedrake I play as a girl in Phantasy Star Online. The best part about being a girl is if you ask for something such as weapons, armor ect... people will actually give it to you.

90% of the guys play women, i acutally believed "LIse" was female. But plenty in the community i know are male (half the sky is all woman, its been proven in real life lmao)
