Just finished watching the Command Center, hilarious. From Higby asking if it's okay to say "HymenRipper" to T-Ray flipping out at a bug in the room and wanting Rule 34 images posted in the fan spam. That stuff kept catching me off guard lol.

Reserving judgement on the Maxes but as TR, wasn't a fan of lockdown in PS1. Will have to see what lockdown does this time.

But... Rumble seat buggy that can seat a Max. If this Max can fire from the buggy, wonder it it can be a Flak Buggy with a Burster Max.... Just thinking out loud kinda... And I know, if so, more AA. Or AV Buggy or AI Buggy, all dependant on what Max you have in that seat... Interesting possibilities if he'd be able to fire along with the secondary gunner.

Vanu thresher concept looks great - will be good to see the end product as well as any other vehicles on the horizon.

I think whats more exciting though (that is content for all to not only see added but get involved with) is confirmation from T-Ray that the Station Player Studio will hopefully be here as soon as the summer time this year.. I reckon that obviously player and vehicle decals are going to be the main thing however it would be fantastic if they allow reskins to the default models - would imagine anything like a model re-skin will work similarly to equpping a camo. In addition to hopefully new vehicle, helmet and armor modelling.

Hopefully outfits will have thier own decals available separate from the public player store.

As abit of info before anyone jumps on the ignorant "so lets just make bright pink glow skins/clown masks" bandwagon; anything in the player studio has to be approved by SOE to get added to the store.

How did I spaz ? Does it sound impressive to you? They also said nothing about strafing, not sure why you'd assume that. He said it would make the MAX move as fast, or slightly faster then infantry.
The attack speed could be nice, but it's not going to be anywhere near what the TR lockdown MAX is and it's probably not going to change TTK because it won't be that fast. Also, it's an ability, not a passive from what I understood. Not sure I'd choose the VS version over charge as he stated it.

Guess I'm just looking at it objectively? TR get increased attack speed (at the cost of movement). NC get a CQC shield for pushing (at the cost of damage), and VS get a slight buff to the MAX speed/damage (at the cost of survivability).

Give a new player those options and which do you think he's going to choose? The high powered offense, the shutdown defense, or the mundane average that keeps pace? If I had the choice I'd take the lockdown TR MAX with the new dual rocket launchers/grenade launchers attacking at superspeed, because that sounds way more bad ass. I'm fairly sure most new players would be choosing the same way, as people usually choose the fancy sports car over the long lasting, more efficient/effective automobiles.


That buggy/thresher/whatever will do good for the VS though. It'll certainly get people to try it out from other factions. It looks more like the VS should look, technologically advanced. Hopefully it's a good sign of things to come for the VS.
