The main issue here is the lock ons are currently borked hard. Though air has always been the hardest and most nerfed aspect of PS2 it has reached a new low with this current bug that plagues us. The fact that we render at such an extreme range for infantry while they spam unavoidable ordinance at us makes me hate the game. I'm not asking for a nerf today, I just want them to fix this god awful bug. Worst part is they said they had a fix for it yet they are holding it for unknown reasons. |

For the time being, just shoot Higby a tweet. Wasn't he asking for peoples opinions on certain balance issues? While this is a bug I'd say it would still fall into that category as people are just as quick to exploit a bug as they are what's "OP". |

Yeah this bug still being around is pretty disappointing, you'd figure something that broken would be properly addressed and solved before what must be a month or so now of being outright broken. Doesn't help that it's a bug that you're forced to deal with or compensate for every couple minutes playing as a pilot :/

Well you have OMFG to thank for that. Don't get me wrong I'm glad they're focusing on optimization but you can't argue against the idea that they left the game in a pretty poor state when they started OMFG. From balance issues to bugs I'm left with a sour taste in my mouth. It is what it is I suppose.

Yep, flares only seem to stop the beeping noise, that's all. I think pretty much every lock-on against me in aircraft on last few days have been hits despite flaring. Interestingly, the IR smoke on ground vehicles still works like a charm, not s single hit after deploying... atleast for me.
