In fact, can't think of many where it should, considering the three in that vehicle should know what they are doing as well and unlike the Lightning, they fire accurately on the move. |

1 Lightning > 1[2/3]Harrasser /or/ 1[1/2]Harrasser 2 Lightnings > 1[3/3]Harrasser /or/ 2[2/3]Harrassers 1 Lightning + 2 Support > 1[3/3]Harrasser /or/ 2[2/3]Harrassers 8 Lightnings + 4 Support > 4[3/3]Harrasers If there is an equal number of players, the lightning[s] will win every time |

I'm calling BS here. A good harasser [2/3] team will eat any single Lightning for lunch every single time. The harasser's driver + gunner cannot be overcome by the poor Lightning driver, who cannot drive evasively while shooting accurately. The faster harasser will run circles around the Lightning, killing it in short order.

This thread was started based on the claim the harasser is borderline OP and references reported massive kill streaks. Nothing of the sort from lightnings. So if lightnings pwn harassers every time... why aren't those same skilled harasser crews taking lightnings and dominating the battle field? where are the lightnings are OP threads? The mobility of the harasser is a game changer. There is ONE reason it is able to kill with so much mobility. |

My biggest problem with the Harasser is that it is now the #1 threat to my Flash. I rarely die to anything but Harassers in my Flash and it makes me a little sad angry.
Yet, it is the next-highest tier of vehicle. I view it almost as one of the Harasser's purposes. I just wish me, in my Flash, had an effective way to go on the offensive against them whilst trading off anti-infantry capabilities. It would definitely be less than ideal for a Flash driver to hunt Harassers, but I want to at least threaten the things, geez. Harasser itself is borderline OP, but not actually OP. Which is fucking awesome. Last edited by AThreatToYou; 2013-06-13 at 12:47 AM. |

i love the harasser. reminds me of doing dem awesome warthog runs on halo, with the driver doing drifts at high speeds while trying to maintain a good angle for the gunner.
we need moar fun vehicles like this (MBT's, anyone?). and when used right, they are EXTREMELY effective. you could take out an MBT easily due to the fact you have double the brain power (one driver and gunner) compared to MBTs. |

The harraser is perfectly balanced as a vehicle and is doing its job perfectly.
Some of the top guns ar a tad OP but this is PS2 everything is OP. The harraser has helped to highlight flaws in how poeple play. You shouldnt ever pull a 1 person MBT and go out on your own. This is free xp to most 2/3 and 3/3 harraser teams. A sunderer needs to be protected by either softies or the top gunners. The days of pulling a sunderer on your own and driving 3 hexes are gone, again its just free XP. With two guns on the top, (and people who can aim). You make the harrasers job alot harder. Still generaly in favour of the harraser though. |

Harasser is OP only because it's hard to shoot at while at the same time it packs some quite hard-hitting weapons. But that said, people just forget that they can damage Harasser with small arms fire. If people were concentrating fire on those and did not only try to blow it with missiles, the Harassers wouldn't live long enough.
Same way 10 people run for cover when a single ESF is overhead instead of just using their primaries to focus-fire, the problem is with figuring the way to counter, or, in other words, with people, not the Harasser. And just to be clear: a) I rarely use Harasser b) I got quite some time and lives wasted while being camped by several TR Marauder Harassers. ...and I still don't consider them to be OP. You can never start a vehicle topic in this forum without some one trying to hijack it into a "we need PS1-like dedicated drivers" discussion, even if it's irrelevant for the discussion. Kinda sad imo but I've learned to live with it.
I'm not shouting out loud that the Harasser needs a nerf btw. It should stay a fun vehicle to play and if any rebalancing needs to be redone on it, it should probably be on the counter side, like making Sunderers a bit more survivable. |

Harassers are fun and a good addition, but may be a little too tough to kill given their speed and firepower. Reducing the amount of AV fire required to kill them by about 20% would be about right IMO.
I also think they're a bit too good at running people down - might be nice if they just hurt people and shunted them aside rather than instantly killing them - especially MAXs. |

Rofl..-ski , again the only person saying that is you. The harrasser isn't OP as it drops easily as Newsith has pointed out, machine gun fire really damages the vehicle. Once most soldiers know this, they'll be repelled alot quicker.
