That's unlike NC where in proximity chat it's a constant, "Oops. My bad dude. Sorry. Sorry." We may not be able to drive, but we're the politest players of all the empires. |

That's because a fair proportion of Miller are British and Irish and we drive on the left like all right thinking and civilised folk do.
The continentals and Mericans are untutored and unlearned and drive on the right, fools that they are. |

fun.
TR Miller. (my second character, BR 43, been through a bunch of outfits) Plenty of platoons and a lot of outfits that are constantly recruiting. These outfits are organized and coordinated, and most of all- they use advanced strategy (also known as "jumping around the map" or using sensor vehicles and directing troops) but very weak on tactics (no combined arms, nor any sort of small squad movement or room clearing) Even-though, I think that the bear minimum of having an air umbrella for bomber or transport usually happens. NC Woodman (my third character, BR 8, new b/c I like the NC play style better) Not a lot of outfits, nor a lot of people wanting to play in squads... seriously- i send people invites, and they decline, why? accept, and then leave the squad if you find me to annoying. The few players that do accept, tend to be strong tactical players, but lack in strategic creativity or game methodology (i.e-, buffer defense- if you take over an adjacent tiles, lattice negates any further attempt to take your base) NC Cobalt. (first character, BR 15, stopped playing) Is there anyone here? hullo? anyone? one this that i see constantly, is people picking faction based on their color... or back story, and then bitching that this is not good, or that why they dont have a weapon another faction has... People need to pick a faction that suits their play style (or lack there of in case of TR... like me), and I think that's not stressed enough before someone starts playing another problem- NOT NEARLY enough people with microphones. and WAY TO MANY that play music on proxy chat at the warp-gate (i give one warning and then report for harassment) |

Maybe I'm just too anal about defending territory since I don't like ignoring defence anywhere and it annoys me to lose territory that was not hard fought against but on Mattherson...
Disregard for defending against bases being capped until it's way too late. No emphasis on defending important facilities like tech plants. Too much outfit reliance on Gal drops vs redeploying. The other day I reported Eisa tech being taken twice. We were right next door to the place. Two minutes later the SL notices Eisa being taken but instead of just travelling to Eisa or redeploying there, we fall back to warpgate for a Gal drop on Eisa. By the time we finally load up, fly there and drop there's 25 seconds left on the cap. We didn't make it. /logoff |
