I want a super intergalactic space war game with three key elements:

A Planetside like FPS element where you battle on planets for controll of those planets.

A homeworld like RTS element where you collect recources from controlled planets, build capital ships, and give the capital ships general orders.

and

A space combat simulator where you are a fighter or bomber pilot and can take part in space battles. (in addition you could be a gunner on a particular capital ship)

hey, Lex, there's a non MMO game that kinda comes close to what you are describing, minus the RTS elements if you wanna check it out.

go to gamespot and look up Breed, it looks promising

How about the logical conclusion of Planetside. Trying to capture bases, except there is a fight in space as well. You can call down Air/space fighters to give you support, The battleships would be fighting with other battleships for space near a ground battle in order for the transports to send drop pods and supplies to the surface and help out there. Tanks and powersuits and perhaps Mecha on the ground, fighters in the air, Ships and to a lesser extent fighters in the space around it.

Kind of a Battlefield 2942

I dont know about that, Armada 1&2 and SFC series did ok (there were like 5 SFCs made, so they had to have sold well enough ) Elite Force sold enough to get an expansion and another one that will come out soon too... But then, there have been 900 failures for every semi-seller, though you must admit that a lot of that was also due to very very bad games, look at ST:new worlds (no multi) hidden evil, or the horrid DS9: dominion wars (it looked soo good though!).

but ya, so many people are just scared from trek titles that they wont even look at them, just say, oh thats trek, so its junk. It is too bad, there are so many possibilities in the trek universe. It is one of the largest universes ever made, it is a shame that people stereotype it so much.

AI controlled artillery batteries that you can call on if it's available and you have the rank to do so. you can also man the artillery and control it manually if you want to. weather that actually has an effect on gameplay. for example, you wouldn't be able to luanch a bombing raid into the middle of a storm or launch landing craft in the middle of raging sees because they would capsize.

that would b sooooooo frreaking AWESOME! With countries that owns different ammounts of land, that other countries could capture.
Also some pieces of land is worth more than others.
Like gold mines and stuff that u could mine and sell 2 other countries so u could produce more and better weapons and vehicles 4 ur country.
Also while u play the country ur playing 4 could develop more and better weapons and vehicles 4 ur country, u could also sell thoose vehicles/weapons.

Allong with wot doobz said this game would b wot I would love 4 a mmofps.

Anything with an extremely large scale would be great. A WWII theme would be cool. A neat idea would be to start a fiction WWIII that takes place in the future. Or something like PS but with sea and space battles included.
