Hey I was wonderin, (just got back to school from spring break) if you launch a missle into a wall will a chunk of a wall explode... and if so could you have the potential to decimate an entire base? i mean if you can't get in it for a hack, blow the poo out of it

along those lines, are there good particle effects? that's one of my favorite things too see in a game, you shoot the dirt and a little pice will shoot up or if you shoot water you can see the bullet hit and a little splash. does ps have cool ones?

The effect of tank shells is VERY cool... I am sure I will botch the description, but basically it hits the target, explodes in an expanding ring, then kinda plooms up... I am sure someone knows of a screenshot showing what I am talking about. The beam weapons have really neat tracer effects. Bullet guns do have tracers mixed in with their normal rounds, they leave a tracer track of whatever color their team is. The smoke trail of rockets is very cool too, expecially with the Pheonix since you can see the trail left behind when someone makes a sharp turn for example. Squick |
