900+ in chat room waiting for word on lag issues and server

I also think this says a lot for how people trust the devs, and realize that yes, we are in BETA and people are hanging in there. That and the game just roxx but hey

Yea, I think the overall attitude has calmed a bit now that the anxiousness of waiting on the cd's has mostly passed. People are starting to realize that they arent playing a finished product, and that they cant demand perfection from it yet.

IT's so badass when the server hiccups and goes down for a little bit, you can just jump on the chat, and SJ is like - it's cool we're fixing problem X - It'll be up in - o wait, it's up now.

You should be able to read what SmokeJumper says, you cannot type because of all the spamming. I'm glad, you couldn't even keep up with all the chatting going on! You can however, pm!

I must say I'm impressed with their dedication. I would rather be down a little while and make all the necessary fixes, then for it to be all *@#$ed up on easter!

Yeah I'm really impressed at the hard work the're doing for us to be able to get in there & test. They must have worked til about almost 1am last night that I know of, making the world not as crash happy etc.

Granted I know it is frustrating with all the lag/crashing problems, but for them to work as hard as they are, even on a holiday weekend shows that the devs really do care, and really do want to make PS as good as it can possibly be.

The other server is up, there is 3000+ people on it....but I seem to be getting disconnected everytime I tried to logon. Anyone else having this issue?

I think maybe you spoke too soon. Official word is that "The server is up.", most likely meaning they are done for the weekend. I can't seem to connect, and i'd be willing to bet you can't connect either

I did manage to play for 45 minutes or so earlier right after this announcement and it was great. Inevitably I got disconnected and the server bit the dust. Unless they are able to reset it remotely, or if someone sticks around at the office, the server will probably be either down all weekend, totally fubar, or consistantly full, perhaps even a mixture of the 3.
