First off, I'd like to point out that this game has made me lose all semblance of a social life. My friends think I am in a coma, hiding from the Federal Government or have decided to become a total recluse due to the ever dwinlding supply of breathable air in Los Angeles.
That having been said....WOW! This game is amazing. The few people I've shown it to have joined the ranks of drooling fan boys. It the concept of team work that has really given this game more depth and feel. There are a few minor issues that I do have though.
1. No Joystick support yet? I had dreams of being able to hook my Saitek up and start piloting Galaxies and Reavers and Mosquitoes...instead, the progam looks at me funny and refuses to acknowledge that I have a flight system set up...and then makes me crash into walls and hills (ok ok, so that's just my own inpetitude, but still, I have to find SOME sort of scape goat right?)
2. Voice Communication within the squad/platoon would be a bonus.
3. A 'targeting' module would be nice. Being able to have a mosquito do a fly by with advanced sensors, and having that information transmitted to squad mates.
4. An artillery Vehicle, allowing for indirect bombardment of enemy positions. Combine that with the Scout Mosquito.
5. Different Variants of Galaxies. Able to drop larger vehicles(AMS), and exclusive MAX squads.
6. Vanu need to have more of a bonus when it comes to tech. The 'hover' capabilities are not worth it.
