galaxy's main doors

ok, this might be a stupid question, seeing that i haven't played the beta version yet. but when your being shuttled in a galaxy are the bay doors open or closed? can you fire out of them? how about toss grenandes? like i said, possibly a stupid question if you can't open the doors or look out while your flying.

You walk up to a galaxy, symbols appear on the ground telling you that this seat is a Passenger/Gunner/Pilot seat, you press G on one of the seats. You see a short animation of the galaxy door or cockpit opening, depending on what seat you choose, then your guy hopping in. You view then diverts to basically a pilot view. And you are just along for the ride at that point. You go where the pilot takes you. There are 3 gunner seats on a galaxy though. One in the rear and 2 on the sides. The gunners see a machine gun and a crosshair going left, right and behind the galaxy, also depending on which seat you choose.

There is also 2 MAX armor seats and a cargo bay to transport medium sized vehicles... Addin at max 3 more seats. (3 seats on vehicles like Maruader) There are enough seats to fit your entire 10 person squad on board plus. But once u get in, your life is in the pilots hands. You are a sittin duck.

Although you can always bail out whenever you want.
