For beta it says I have to be part of the fan club thing, so I click on the link and log in, fill out all of the stuff and a friend told me to ignore all of the must be 18 things, so I did. I hit I accept SOE Online terms of service and it says "Must be 18" well wtf! I thought the NDA was lifted, please help!

Must be 18 for beta, has nothing to do with NDA.

I had this same problem but within less than a second of seeing the message "must be 18 or older" I had an idea. It was bold and daring... so crazy that it just might have worked. I went back and told them I was 22 and then one day I got an email...

It's a beta test not a demo. So it's perfectly okay to target 18 and over, in fact that is the point. They wanted mature testers not n00bz with gunz.

I bet thats partly it but isnt it for legal reasons too... Im sorry but theres a lot of 18 years and up that arnt mature have u seen the beta forums... i dont think i can read a thread without some1 flaming

Having the 18 requirement while the NDA was in affect was for legal reasons, but now I think it's just to keep out people who will whine and not report bugs.
