I think that gaining BEP and CEP and all leveling in this game is going to have to happen at a much, much slower pace once this is actually released. Cutting back to maybe 1/5 to 1/10 what we currently recieve or making us require 5-10x more at least would be a start. As it stands we have tons of people already BR20 and already there are at least two people I know of at CR5. Once there are thousands of people playing this and the servers are up 24/7 that means there would be at sooo many people at that point within the first couple weeks of play. I have no problem with lots of people being high BR aside from the fact that it really should take longer to get there, but I do believe that there should onlye be a handful of people ever able to attain CR5, CR6 status.
Perhaps there can be some additional requirement for attaining these ranks? Maybe only a certain number of slots available for them. Then they could be chosen differently based on your Faction. The TR would maybe be like a Dictatorship so a certain number people with the most CEP and BEP would be the CR6's and then maybe they could have some kind of say in choosing the CR5s (who would still have to meet some very high requirements). The NC could be more democratic and possibly somehow vote on the CR6 leaders (again only from the ones meeting the high requirements) and they would have a "Term of Office" until the next vote takes place. Good leaders would stay and prosper and bad leaders would never last longer then one term. I dont know how well that would work out though. The VS of course should never be allowed anyone over CR2. And they would reach that by having the most TKs against each other.

votes for leaders never works, it ends up being the largest outfit wins, end of story....
It would ruin things if you had to vote for a leader, you would jsut have a popularity contest, nothing to do with skills, just how many people you have in your outfit. The way it is now is good, but they do need to make it much longer to get the high lvls

Yea, im BR12 in the on and off (damn server!) playing for the last 2 weeks. I also spent a good bit of that time screwing around and looking for bugs, i wasnt focused on lvling. I think the exp required per level should go up exponentially. Still leave the lower lvls open so new characters can get some sort of definition quickly, but so players dont get BR 20 in a week.
Right now, to go from BR1 to BR 12 would probally take me less then a week if the servers didnt hate me. |

Players always level way faster then they intend for them to. Personally for bep I think they should leave it where it is at for levels 1-5, double it for 6-10, *10 for 11-15 and then ^2 it for 16-20.
I have not worked on Cep, so either *10 across the board or ^2 it. |

ROFL we have RPG fevor. FPS players get a taste of leveling and they want more of it! The last thing PS needs is more levels, certs, or specialities. The whole point of the current system is that level is NOT a major factor in power. It already is too much of a factor IMO since a level 20 has access to so much more firepower than a level 1. I think certs, BRs, and that are fine.
Now CRs is a differnet story. I think any CR that gives a user access to global or continent wide commands of ANY sort should be by approval or staff (or eventually promotion by existing high ranking CRs). Any n00b can get enogh EXP over time, eventually everyone will be CR 4-5. What we need is control on the higher CRs. Its fine to let people get Cr3 and be able to do lots of cool stuff with their squad, but you need only a FEW people to be given very high CR and power, and they need to be competent. |

from br1 to br12 is nothing, when your in a full squad and in one of those big battles. You could stand in one spot and lvl so fast its not even funny. +100 every few seconds because one of your squad mates gets a kill. I think the exp you get from someone else getting a kill should be decreased to balance it out.

XP from kills your squad mates, if they were to be adjusted, should keep the same 'percentage' for kill XP - that is, you should gain at the same rate in any squad, but you'd gain slower by yourself.
You have one squadmate, you get 100 XP per kill they make You have two squadmates, you get 50 XP per kill they make You have three squadmates, you get 33 XP per kill they make You have four squadmates, you get 25 XP per kill they make etc. Only problem with that is 'deadweight' people who don't kill many people compared to grunts/gunners - Infiltrators, mosquito scouts, ANT drivers, et al - would be shunned from squads because they decrease XP gotten from the OTHER people in the squad. I personally think they shouldn't adjust XP from squad kills and just raise the XP requirements per level, especially after BR 6-10 once the soldier is deemed 'combat effective' advancement should be qute slow.
