Ahh the day in the life of NC!

STarted yesterday after wipe, and i went NC on markov. Much fun. Started as a MAX but detrained it now Im medium, Anti vehichular, reinforced. Gauss is sweet- but hard to get used to compared to cycler, which imho is a better gun. Anyway im still getting used to phenoix, which again SUCKS. Damage SUCKS. Range SUCKS. not being able to fire in doors sucks. Instead of firing a dumb warhead and going back around corner, i have to stay in camera-eye-view until it hits! wtf?! no anti max indoors then i guess

takes WAY to many shots for a mag to die too i might add. and minichain gun is annoying- as far as infantry goes i can kill anyone EXCEPT a minichain gunner unless i get drop on him.

Can take out maxes great outdoors, but indoors with phenoix? no way. missles cant turn corners, and i cant stay out into open til the warhead hits, so its useless.

cant fight tanks with phenoix, MAGRIDER takes like 4 or 5 shots WTF?

Had fun battles - wish id taken screenshots ( i kept hitting printscreen, which im used to hitting in other games, but it didnt save my pics

anyway we got cut off but we fought our way out, like 50 NCs against TR and VS :P If you like fun battles NC is the way to go. Our AV sucks, but gauss is nice once u get used to it. Its nice being underdog too!

Most happy fun time is cutting your way out of TR and VS space behind 4 Vanguards.

hehe anyone got tips for using phenoix? i can take out ANTS well- i saved a base 4 times from ants- we were at tower and they had to cros s path of tower to get to base- forget which one but anway- and i t ook out 3 of them b4 they got to base ( they had to cross brdige to get to tower) and another AS it was being deployed omg it was sweet kill but any tips for using phenoix against MAXs

doesnt seem liek it can be used indoors at all

Only tip I can give you is to not expect it to make tight turns. Also make sure you have some cover when you fire, or a sniper will shoot you as soon as you fire.

It doesn't do a lot of damage, but there is nothing like the sight of an enemy running away from that incoming phoenix missile. There is no secret for hitting maxs. They are big and easy to hit, you just have to hit them a lot to take them out.

hmm anyone know exaclty how many hits for a full max with phenoix versus that of TR?

From farting around on the shooting range the Lancer takes down a max in 4-5 hits. Fast firing 6 per clip.

I never thought about how bad Phoenix is inside. But don't forget the REAL underdogs are VS!

the phenoix is the best anti MAX and anit vehicle out there it use to be hella far range and alot of dmg now its good range and they made dmg do a little less but its still powerful

better then TRs POS one that dose not much dmg

phenoix hits to kill a MAX from 1 to 3

Hell yah, that was great yestarday. The 666th had over 50 outfit members involved in those battles. We completely overran Solsar and took the entire continent from the TR and VS. I even had the pleasure of personally killing Whacko, the leader of the Terran High Command. Got the drop on him good.

After cleaning the vermin off Solsar we headed to Cyssor. Celebrating the victory of our hard work on Solsar alot of outfit members logged for the night.

I have alot of screenies from those battles too.
