After reading the official forums i was about to post something there, but kept myself calm, and thought about here, atleast heres, where one can start are real discussion!

My point is: Vanu underpowered?

I can be a little biased, but my argument is, that Vanu lacks of good AV weapons, while the others have enough weapons against MAX for example.
When i play vanu MAX, i dont dare rushing a TR tower, because it will be certain, that i got shot out of the air by several Rockets.
Same goes for NC but flying the Phoenix, might be harder. I admit a good phoenix user, when i see one (some got me, when i ran behind a tree, awesome shot)

I say: Chaingun and TR Rocket gun are way too easy to use. I mean, it takes atleast skill to aim a Lancer, tell me what skill does it take to fire a rocket and see it hit the MAX? Same for chaingun (in a way) i mean, if get close to a chaingun... bye. Wheres that weapon for Vanu? A MAX ? Its HARD, atleast to win against a tr rocketeer. Against a Chaingunenr it still not easy, 2 and im dead aswell!
For NC the advatage is, once i rescued my ass behind a hill, a happy little rocket with my name on it, hits mit head! Not to mention this ...gauss.

Well my point being: A MAX should be some kind of barricade for infantery... this way, as i find it, im as a max player am totally owned.

One would say: but vanu owned x continents!
BS we were just zerging, or lucky.

So discuss pls, i would like to hear your arguments.

Comming from a NC member VC is definitly underpowered. Here is the standings

1. NC
2. TR
3. VS

Only because VS is based on sucky energy based wepons and has only one main vehicle and i sux. See the NC has the Ultimate power but cannot follow up with speed. TR Has speed but no power. VS has none of the above. If ur a VS member stick to the common pool stuff

I agree that the Vanu are underpowered, just not from the points you are making. The AV Vanu weapon, and heavy assault are both great AV weapons, the Pulsar just sucks, and the mag-rider is pretty crappy compared to a Vangaurd. Yes the NC do have an advantage with the pheonix, but it will probably be nerfed anyway.

I agree that the VS has the weak "pulsar" weapon, but I thought the rocket gun was part of the common group (or are we not talking about the same weapon).

No way, illk own a vanguard with a magrider everytime, sorry but magrider is the ebst tank, prolly too good!

btw im talking about the TR specific AV Infantery weapon.

I do not agree with that at all. Vanu has some of the best weapons.

Lasher: This baby does splash damage that do not hurt friendlies. For the love of god, the only reason there aren't more Pounder MAXs is the fact you get griefed like mad. It can clear rooms with relative ease. It's not considered a AA or AI weapon, and thus do good damage against both types. If your arguement is that it's slow, realize that that is what the Lancer is for.

Lancer: Probably the best AV weapon in my opinion. 3 shots to kill any infantry, around 8 shots to kill a MAX. I'd say a Reaver can take around 7-8ish?

LLC, Lasher Lancer Combo, is by far the most dangerous out there.
