my game is all pink

I just installed the beta and the first time i launched the game all of my screen is pink. I can see smoke, but nothing else shows up. if anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it so I can try out the game.

Actually, I am in Physics, but I think you are reaching for the word psychic

Anyhow, give us system specs among other things. The more info you give, the more we can tell you. Right now all I can tell you is you are screwed. Give us more information, and I may be able to tell you why. Give me even more then that, I may be able to tell you how to fix the problem.

I have the same problem. Here are my system specs:

Windows XP
AMD Athlon XP 2100+
512mb pc2700 ram
GeForce 4 MX 420

Nothing I can think of seems to fix the problem, please help!

Have you tried installing the 40.72 Det drivers for your video card?

You have decent specs for your computer, but the MX card isn't good, just in case you hadn't realized it yet.

yeah i know my video card effin sucks.

anyways somehow i got it working, i was just messing around with my direct 3d settings and i went into planetside and everything worked... i dunno how i fixed it :P

I had exactly the same problem, pink fog, some smoke, and green floating names was all i could see

Solved it by installing the latest nvidia drivers for my GF2 MX(yea, laugh all you want, heh) from www.nvidia.com
