Transports... or gun platforms??

So do you think they should have more space in transports? since i was looking at the deliverer it has 5 crew 1 driver 2 gunners with only 2 passengers. It seems more like a gun platform than a transport to carry passengers this isn't really bad, in fact its preety good but the real transports are the Galaxy and Sunderer and they are heavily armed too.

The Deliver should be able to carry at least 1 MAX...
Otherwise theirs no point to having aTransport.

ya and something about that sunderer, never really see it used to transport as much as run rampart around towers blasting everything in sight... ARG!!! (past experiences) I just usually see a driver and two gunners unless a squad is all going by sund together...

Whats really fun : Having 2-3 stealth suits walk into an enemy base, hack vehicle, then jump in a sunderer. Jump out before it explodes and repeat.

No, what's fun is having some moron driving an AMS where he shouldn't, get jumped by us poor souls with no transport, force him to leave his vehicle, do horrible horrible things to him, then deploy the AMS just to deconstruct and move faster. For all we know, the AMS is still there


But seriously, the Deliverer is cool. I tried it out one time, fun to drive. And being able to carry 4 passengers isn't too bad. I have seen Sunderer's used to carry squads from place to place. We don't all use galaxies. In fact, I have only been in one a few times.

As it should be doppler, galaxies seem like an overkill most of the time, too bigger target, of cause this is guess work cause i havent played it yet, too slow an internet connection to download it (takes me 384 hours !!)

Yes, Galaxies are huge targets. But that doesn't mean foot soldiers will blast it out of the sky. They can take a beating forever. I've watched someone shoot at one for quite a while. It was parked, so it wasn't like he missed or anything. Never saw the thing blow up either. Captured the facility and moved on.

Galaxies suck for gunships. If your gunners are lucky they may hot something and kill it, but you're a massive target, and you're going to get killed fast if you just fly around over a battlefield.

Deliverers aren't that good for attack vehicles either.

Sunderers, on the other hand, are, given their remarkable durability and not-so-bad 75mm's.

Well real life transports also have big guns so its ok, I think its a good mix

Me either....maybe its because its not worth the certs in comparison to what you're hauling. The only place i would even consider their smimming ability useful would be Cyssor or maybe Hossin.

Transporters need big guns to defend themselves. Without them you might just as well paint large targets on the tramsporters for all the reavers and tanks.
