On the VS jumpjets

How much control do you have when using them? I am assuming it is not like the tribes jetpack, but it is something you have good control over, such as holding the button for constant thrust, or is it a single-fire device that gives you a set boost each time you hit the button? Furthermore, can the boost be used to propel you forward, or is it only upward?

I am regretting that I didnt try the VS MAX, but I was on TR lol.

I would assume you have some control over your direction.. you dont just go straight up. Watched many vs max jump up onto the base walls.

VS MAX jumpjets are purely parabolic.

In otherwords, the horizontal speed and direction that you have when you hit the thurst key will be the horizontal speed and direction you take when jumping.

No course correction is possible in the air except to spin and fire as you move.

About how long will they last? Sounds like it will take some skill to jump into high spots seeing as you have to be moving at the right speed before you launch.

How long will they last? and... How long will it take for them to recharge? I hate being confused!
