I was going to buy this game. It looked like a nice change from DAOC.
I want to fight and have a character who is good at it - thats all. As I understood it was easy to level up to a point where you were good in combat and you could do it all by fighting.(I know theres teams and all I like that too). So am I correct that to "lvl" up now you have to do specific things and be in the right place at the right time? I always hated in DAOC that if you were scouting for a bug party you ended up getting nothing. I aways like that if i killed someone at least it helped me a little. Im I right in thinking its a new game now?

Nah you can lvl just fine going around kicking ass. A br 1 can do just fine vs a br20 if the br 1 knows how to play and/or use his MAX suit 8)
Hell my BR3 NC character took down about 8 TR alone in a toewr with scattergun MAX. Just a matter of know how to play and adapt to situations. Its only the real exp hounds who focus way too much on exp who want to linger around a base and pick their nose to move the not so important exp bar. |
