About The New Xp System!!! Important

Ok well i like planet side alot and the dev. have been doing a good job keep the servers clean of griefers and other people that make the game miserable for others, and also doing a good job with the patches as well everyone was fine with all the patches too. But this recent change of the xp system i really did not like and i have been to some other official and fansites and have noticed the same. The polls that have been posted on these sites have shown negative feedback to this new xp system i know that the dev do make mistakes and i hope that they do base their decisions on the fans of the game so all i ask is for the dev to considerthis change in the xp system.

I don't think of it as a mistake. I think of it as an opportunity to see what works and what doesn't. This obviously (IMHO) doesn't work.

There are no mistakes until the release. NOW'S the time to do such bold moves.

Do you think the devs will have THIS much freedom when the game goes public and people are acutally PAYING for the game?

NO WAY.

I applaud the devs for what they are doing and I applaud the community for taking a mature stance in their feedback. The devs ARE listening and ARE doing things to improve the gameplay before the release.

We do have to let them know how we feel about certain issues.

i know i might have put that the dev made a mistake they probably did not but the majority of the planetside community does not like this desicion and i just wanted to tell the dev if they ever see this forum to re-consider the desicion that they made i am not just saying this because i dont like the new system im doing this because the community as a whole does not like the decesion they made

I think its bugged. I had 5 caps today and only got about 10 xp for it.

One base i was in the SOI for about 3 minutes. i got 5 kills there was over 50 kills in the base. when it was capped i was rearded with 5 xp. this happened multiple times on markov today. I dont know if the new xp system is bad because i did everything i was supposed to do yet got nothing for the caps. only for kill xp

New XP system SUX. Simple. It promotes sitting around when with the old way, only one squaddie need remain behind. Now EVERY squaddie must be in the base AS MUCH TIME AS POSSIBLE.

Break out the smores and sing cumabya..

--AND--

Now, instead of just capturing a base, the best (most milky) way to capture is to take control and wait ten minutes before you start the hack so that you can squeeze every possible timeslice of XP out of the capture. Lame.

He didn't mean anything against you. He just means there are many threads like this. You could have easily contributed to those threads. Oh and there is a poll on the main PSU page.

whatever forget about it we are all here for the same thing i just really hope that the dev just change back the old xp system because right now there is a whole lot of negative feed back to the new xp system

The only problem i have with the new system is that base captures are worth nothing. It's now more advantageous for you if you go to the fights than cap bases.
