Clarifying a rumor (No new vehicles yet)

I saw over on PS stratics that they said the new vehicles will be available at retail.

This isn't true, I went to the Training Area real quick just to see if they were in. I didn't see anything pull up at all in both vehicle lists. Air and Ground.

It's either going to be this week, or next week most likely. That's my opinion, not fact.

Anyways, just passing the info around.

I bet we won't see the new content until the retail players have had some time to get over the content already there.

of course...they anounce it to hook u to buy it, then they implement it after your subscription ends to hook u to continue your subscription.

When Dayone Studios announced new content for Mech Assault for XBOX Live users and said it would be available in 2003, there were people on the forums, around midnight Dec 31st waiting to download the new content the moment the ball dropped in the big apple.

No really, people actually believed that 2003 meant January 1st, 2003 at 00:01. No I don't think they were joking. I mean at first I thought they had to be joking (there was more than one), but then at 00:02 when they checked and there was nothing new, they started flaming the boards. No really I know sarcasm when I see it and they really believed this.

From every day after they complained. When new dates were posted, and those dates passed, they complained.

I think the new content finally arrived end of February/early March.

Anyway, all that to say: don't hold yer breath.

Maybe it'll be a month, more likely it'll be 3 months or more. Right now their priority should be to get connection bugs, etc worked out. (I know, i know they have different people working on different stuff, blah blah blah).

It'll be 3 months at least

I'm in no hurry. I enjoy the game and that's all that matters at the moment. The game has a lot of potential for growth and I'll be there when it happens.
