So release is here, I have no plans to change our forum layout. Due to the amount of regular visitors we have - setting up forum access based on your empire affiliation is almost out of the question. The amount of requests and sheer volume of people we have

ie. I have no plans to setup empire specific forums, comments/suggestions? I'm all ears, because I am at a loss as to what path to take

You could create empire specific boards and not regulate them. They wouldn't be any good for planning strategic attacks, but they would be decent for talking about overal strategy of your empire.

Just a suggestion.

Server Specific Forums

PSU Is growing every day and the amount of topics are crazy. Navigating PSU's forums with ease is important and having different forums is what makes it easier. I would personally love to have server specific forums. It would be awesome to make a post talking about a cool battle you had that day, or anything that is server specific. It would also be a cool way to reflect ont he the battle's taking place and to talk about how each empire is doing. Please reply here if you would like to see this, I personally would love to see it.

Forum Moderation: As for forum moderating, It shouldnt be a problem. But empire flaming or server flaming wont be tolerated if this idea takes off.

Yeah server specific forums would rock. That way we can get more of the "(Empire A) pwned (Empire B) on (Continent A) last night" posts.

I hope that's not sarcasm cause that's not the purpose of the forums. And definetly not what i envision the forums being

No, I'd actually hope it would amount to more than that, but frankly I invision a lot of that kind of posting.

I have alot of faith in the forum members. And if that kind of stuff happens, There post will be taken care of. With the forum members we have now, another forum would be nice, and i especially like this idea.
