Has anyone seen this movie? It's Spielberg's masterpiece, dethroning Saving Private Ryan in my opinion. The movie is very powerful and will drive you to tears. This is definitely on my top five list.
It's about the Holocaust. A factory owner decides to help the **** secretly... It is very graphic, also. People get sniped, there are mass cremations, and people are stripped naked and forced into the yard to be inspected. If found unhealthy, they are sent to be killed.

The gun katas. Through analysis of thousands of recorded gunfights, the Cleric has determined that the geometric distribution of antagonists in any gun battle is a statistically predictable element. The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly. |

i saw a bit of it the other day. Its all black and white right? You lose some of the feel if u watch random middle bits, but unfortuantely we have the restraints of a 50minute long lessons at school. Btw, this will sound nit-picky, but it cant really dethrone SPR because it was made before it. Therefore, Ryan would have had to dethrone it, only to get dethroned again. Eurgh.

Yes, it's an excellent movie. I really do think it's one of Spielberg's best. Saving Private Ryan was excellent as well though.
Also, it's not all black and white. Spielberg makes use of colour at some parts, but always to accent the importance of something. You have to see it to really understand. |
