Where are the ruins in PS?

At was under the impression that there would be some sort of ruins found in the world of planet side . I recall reading in one of the frequently asked question lists that one of the DEVs said that somewhere in the world of planet side ancient ruins could be found, and that these would've been left here by the aliens which the Vanu base their technology around.

Has anyone seen any of these ruins? Are they located in some remote spot on one of the continent's? Or aren't there any ruins in the game? I think that ruins definitely would be a welcome change of pace for combat setting , and I hope that this idea can and will be explored in future planet side patches.

Its called Nanite technology dude. That's why everything looks good.

You see, nanites break everything down to an atomic level and rebuild it. That's why there's no farms to grow food or anything like that. When someone flushes a toilet in their sanctuary the contents are dropped into a pile with the rusted parts of a hull of a reaver. Then some robot comes along and drops a drop of water on the pile filled with nanobots that completely reconstruct the molecular makeup of poop and metal to make chicken fajitas or a filet mignon which is then put on a plate and tray along with a glass that was also reconstructed out of the same poop and metal which is then put on a conveyer belt and moved along to the cafeteria where you get your lunch before you go join a squad and kill people np.

Ruins dont realy exist anymore

I believe they were removed.

On one of the continents however there is a large bird in the ground, its made up by a bunch of little hills and such. Cnat remember the cont name, you have to be high up to see it as well
