Best price for performance is probably the 9500 Pro.

Anyhow, all those cards were high end at some point with the exception of the 5200 and the 5600 which were only put out to have DX9 compatability. I highly doubt they are going to come back into the current market, it's going to most likely be the next one.

well, considering the mixed reviews i just read i think i'm gonna get a 9800 Pro, especially considering how the price should drop soon

$500.00 for a video card is NUTS. I think my wife would kill me if I spent 500 on a video card. 399.00 is a stretch. I waited for the 9800 PRO to get released and I bought a 9700 PRO when the price dropped to 299.00. Now thats a deal

There are a number of these boards on pricewatch at this price. Can't actually tell if these have DDR2 or not. They are prolly not Ultra's either. But still rather nice prices.

I saw a pre-order for a 5900, 128 i think, for $419. Didn't really interrest me.
