thelags been realy pissing me off the past few days on emerald. 3 of the last 7 bases that i began hacking with under 3 minutes left on the hack the game just completely froze. ha there goes my cep pts right down the drain.

I notice that Emerald has 2x the population of Johari and emerald still seems to grow. I thought they were going to cap the populations on servers. And why in the hell are people still joining the Emerald servers when there are 2 other servers with relativly low populations.

Although I do love the population of Johari now, lots of people but not too many that we get evil lag.

think of it as in bf1942 - people want to join the 25/25 server, not the 6/16. what they don't understand is server population and how it affects gameplay in PS are not analogous to most online multiplayer games...

Just look to the right of the server name at the ping. The lower the ping, the better. Or at least thats how I understand it.

Keep in mind that for the past few days they've apparently been testing new netcode. I'm not expecting leaps and bounds, but, it might help.

Heh, you guys should try lagging on an already laggy system.

At least half of my deaths could have most likely been prevented if i wouldn't lag simply because most of the time i can't do shit against the enemy, i see them, freeze up, then unfreeze dead.

I feel for you Dio. Same thing happens to me, doors dislike me and won't open, g works once in a blue moon, ammo reloading and switching is effectively disabled. Meh. Chat is 2 minutes late, but when it's squad vs squad its not so bad.

Oh god..on Emeraled its ungodly. Tonight my outfit was locked out of Emerald for an hour, our characters stuck on Cyssor, when the server had a MAJOR lag spike. I really wish they'd 1.) Lower the cap or 2.)Split the servers.

i know wat thats like doors HATE me and reloading is so bad i use differnt wepons instead of waiting an hour fer it to kick me off the world instead of reload.

Yeah, I've emptied Gauss, hit "R", switched to Scatter, emptied, hit "R", wait 10 seconds, pull now reloaded Gauss, then I died. Also, to test lag, I use ammo switching as a guide to how laggy it is. Wierd, but effective. Once I tried to follow someone into a door, but they jumped through the solid door due to the lag causing me to believe the door wasnt open.
