Starting Planetside - Cert Advice needed

Well, I've read up on lots of the different ways to spend cert points.... was just wondering if anyone has a suggestion on how to spend them after i get up to BR3 or so, from the simulators.

I want to get into the action, and get networked with others, and find a good outfit.

I see lots of people rave about the reaver, but is that really such a great first choice?

This is like asking someone which shirt you should buy. You get what you like the most, what you enjoy playing as.

To get a feel for everything it is vital that you use the virtual reality training to try everything out. Then you can make an educated choice with your first certs (you will be on BR3 at this point thanks to the VR training).

You can also sell back a cert every 24 hours -- so don't be afraid to try new things "in the field".

i have:
Medium Assault (a must have)

Special Assault (so im well rounded, nice weapons)

<Sunderer> (had it, then forgot it. way too slow, and people dont really appreciate it unfortunately)

<Lightning) (really great at first, but then in the big battles i got worked)

Reaver (i had it on an old character, and its just a must have for an assault. i need to take out the strong dudes fast, then drop onto the base, get in there and hack the CC.)

Hacking (its probably the most useful thing in the game, a must have for a special assault like myself)

Engineering and Combat Engy, (for setting up turrets)

dunno what ill get after that, probably get bored of the game or pissed at the lag. perhaps ill get the bomber.

Medium Assault is a good way to start.

I strongly suggest you try the infultration suit. It is the best class in the game IMHO. Other certs that go along with infultration would include:
Hacking- A no brainer, realy
Combat eng.- Become the ultimate boobie trap layer.
Anti Infantry MAX- Sneak into enemy base, hack terminal, get MAX, wreak havoc.
