Side note:
The only monitors that require fixed Resolution settings are LCD screens. This is because of the way they are designed eg. my 15" only runs on 1024x768 anything else as the aspect ratios dont work. and my 17" requieres 1280x1024 most monitors have a max resolution, but this is more because of the limitation ofthe Hrz it can run at, but lets not get into Hrz...

Hello,
I run at 1600x1200 myself, but then I'm running a Pent IV 3.06gHz. The higher resolution lowers my frame rate a little bit I'm sure, but I have a Ti 4600 with tons of RAM as well. It is worth the slowness for the field of view and max sized radar and decent sized chat box. I can't play games with small field of views! It feels like tunnel vision to me. Oh yeah, I'm on a 19 inch monitor also for now. 1024 by 700 ehh? hee hee... 1024 by 768 is the correct one! I've tried lowering my resolution to that in PS, but I just can't go back to it now that I have played so long on 1600 x 1200. (I was trying the lower setting to get a better frame rate) The game runs okay for me in a support role at my resolution though, so I can deal with it the way it is. 8-) |

my monitor is 17'', so it's pretty normal i can't go to 1600x1200...lol then i would really be seeking my 'Run'button my friend
the downside is pretty simple: my 'table' is made for 17'', and not any higher... but i think it'll be still good for some time EDIT: Wich resolutions would LCD monitors require then?
