Like many others, I have DL and Surge and enjoy both. Darklight is a must have at BR6, and I have no intention of trading in surge for anything else(mainly because I no longer have a MAX).

When I played in beta, I really enjoyed Audio Amp, and Surge.

Audio amp is nearly as effective as darklight in finding (not targeting) cloakers, but it also detects all other enemies and from farther away and through walls. That cloaker sneaking behind the crates in the next room over? You wouldn't even know he's there with darklight and you wouldn't see him if he's crouch-walking, yet with audio amp you'll pick him up in both instances. It also lulls them into a false sense of security when you don't have the big "I'm looking for cloakers" sign (darklight icon) over your head.

And surge is great with special assault (esp. jackhammer) and other close range weapons and is also a good way to get around fast.

The third slot I'd use as my swap spot. I'd change it out depending on my mood/loadout/situation. I haven't tried it but AA+DL would probably make a great infiltrator hunting combo.

I use darklight a lot. I'm the engineer of my squad, so I repair maxes near CCs/corridors and use the DL there.

I also toggle DL occasionally when I'm running cross-country, just to catch people running past me.

If you team up with a regular group of people, check what situation they're in before you join them (via HART, say) and see if you can alter your implant accordingly - they can be learnt and forgotten instantly.

I guess i don't have the same issue other ppl do with stealthers.

Surge/AudioAmp on occasion i'll swap Surge for Darklight or AudioAmp for MeleeBooster

I have also used AdvRegen and Shield when hacking a CC right when i know i'm about to be shot in the back.

But if can only have one then no question. Surge owns. Definately alot more situations to use it in. And good for any class besides MAX.

ok if you don't have adv targeting, do you not see enemy names? or is it just if you can or can't see their health? because if you can still see their names I'll trade adv targeting in for audio...

I notice I still see their names when it isn't active but I'm not sure if its just because I have the implant or not...

I play a inf/ce/adv hack right now and I usually use the melee booster since i dont carry a gun most of the time . I use surge tho sometimes if im in the mood , its nice to have when escaping or running infront of an enemy to drop a turret infront of him (always funny when it pops up right behind them out of nowhere) .

Being a Medic I personaly take surge (a MUST for a medic who needs to get places quickly) and meele boost. My weapons are guass and Pheonix, and although they are both good, there are plenty of occasions I spend those 30 bullets and still remain in danger. the glory of meele boost is u can turn it on but it doesnt drain stamina till you swing, so just set your knife to secondary mode, and when u need it just start hacking at them. I can't tell you how many knife kills ive gotten, and when i use surge in combination with meelee boost... fun fun fun. Although you have to watch your stamina when you do that.

But does anyone agree that the personal shield isnt too good? I mean it protects you... but it ALWAYS takes you to 0 stamina and once its off your in this horrible slow moving condition, which I would never want myself in. I would take personal shield if it stoped at 20, and didnt drain stamina when you weren't getting hit.

Statistically, Darklight is your best option. You'll realize what your next implant will be when the time comes.

I have darklight and Adv Targeting. I liked regeneration, cuz u didnt need a medic all the time, and I like melee booster when i was being an infiltrator of course, and I didnt see a need for surge at the time,but now that im reinforced i think i might...

3rd implant, im just gonna flip a coin several times.

BTW wut happens with me is that when im one cert away from getting a 3 cert point certification, ill buy infil armor just cuz its fun as crap to stealth, thats when ill switch targeting for melee.
